Before this video I thought that Canadians are clever. I was mistaken.

Do you have Canadian FMs were is written how to make anti-tank barriers correctly?

Look here @YarS Maybe some ppl would say i am harsh. Or i am not showing respect. But as a friend i am corectly and it is necessary. This is what piss me off. Bad leadership and they have porley tactical knowledge. This video is a publick video. Russia can see this video. If u want to brag and show off a nice video. And to Russia. We can show them better than this. And for the Norwegian they are to afraid to give American tuff and harsh training. If u want to come to Norway and get hard core winter training. We can do allot better than this. Sorry to say guys. But these soldiers is not getting tick skinnet by this training. My little son can do better than this :)

I'm not engeener, I was serve in Inner Forces, but even I know some rules of making forest barriers.
    1. You should use trees with diameter of trunk (in santimetres) more that tank's weight in tons. To stop T-90 you need trees with trunk more that 50 sm, to stop M1 Abrams - more that 70 sm.
    2. Turn tops of trees to the enemy (with little angle).

    3. Add mines against tanks and infantry.
    4. Any barriers can't stop enemy by itself. They must be an elements of ambush or defence.

And what are Norvegian rules, @BlueHawk ?

I think the tactic is meant for smaller units to delay an armored assault, it could even be for resistance forces. It isn;t a complete solution and can be overcome relatively easily but if you can delay the enemy for an hour then that is a small win.

Ha! In the summer of 2014 there were episode, when almost weaponless militia of DPR stops Junta's tanks with high abrosive metallurgical slag.

Of course, any Baltic exersises are useless - they have no chances not only to stop, but even to slow us, but if Canadians are trying to teach Sprats - they need, at least, read books.
