If you know Turkish, it mean, that you know at least third part of differences between Russian and Ukrainian. For example "Maidan" is Turkish word.
Also, if you know Cyrrilic letters and Turkish language it mean that you almost know language of Crimean Tatars.

Sure. It's a real problem - lack of democracy in modern Neo-Nazi Ukraine.

I know Ukrainian (in fact it is dialect of Russian) but I also can't watch Ukraine TV, first of all, because it is madness.
If you know Russian and have good internet you have access to all treasures of worlds culture. Positive moment from "sanctions" is that "fight for copyrights" was stopped, and now you can see any West and East movies and download any books as much, as you can.
What is your profession? Life in Ukraine becomes harder not only for you, but for all Ukrainians. Later will be only worse. You should learn Ukrainian only if you want to be clerk or peasant.

Of course I'm Vatnik (quilted jacket).

I was born in Shahti (it is capital of Eastern Donbass), my double-cousine in Mariupol' is registered as Ukranian (but she know, that Ukranian is not ethnonim, but ethnohoronim), and one of grandmothers of my wife was Tartarian. BTW one of my grand-grand-grandmothers was captured by my grand-grand-grandfather in Turkey.

I think, that "Ukranian" is Russian, who think that he is not Russian, and Ukranian nationalist is a Russian human who so want be inrussian, that became inhuman.

In conclusion of your words you is Ukrop (Dill). To be Dill (in Australian English "Dill" means "idiot") you have not to learn Ukranian. Arsen Avakov, Miho Saakashvili, Semen Semenchenko etc don't know Ukranian. Only you need - to hate Russians, believe in Europe and USA and jump.

And this emotion is envy. When "Moskaliki" drink Martini on Maldives, "Honorfull Cossacs" gather strawberries in Poland. Peons in Poland... Third class Europeans... Misirable sight.
