I think its fair for India to have a seat at the UNSC, they have a population over 1 billion and have one of the largest economies and militaries in the world. The current configuration of the UNSC is very outdated, it reflects a bygone era. Since they bygone era Eastern economies have grown immensely, and so has their military ad diplomatic power. From a US perspective it seems beneficial to have India on the UNSC, countries like France and Britain are good allies but they don't have the power the used to have.

I think, that it will be fair to give them a seat in UNSC as result of victory in WWIII. If they will choose right side, of course.

India has a decent chance of getting a seat at the UN but of course all sides must agree, China would not.
