CentCom Electronics, a Bangalore based private Indian firm also was reported to have successfully developed an indigenous radar, though I have no further update after report.

700 TR modules is good, but 1500-2000 on N036 "Belka" or even 1000 on N010 "Juk" is better.

Ok. Let's wait. But before this moment we also shall improve our radars. May be, for actual work you will buy some hundreds of good radars?

India is lucky that it has the luxury to buy from anyone around the world, they have a huge market and no one will give it up for political reasons. They can develop their own radar but if they need to "the purchase" option is available.

It is not only a "luck". Also it is a result of wisdom and diligence of many generations of Indian people, their fight for independence from anglosuxon yoke.

This luxury is nothing against China who received heavy transfers of technology from Russia, France, US & UK between 1966-96.

    I won't be calling so.
Ever since the NDA Regime came in power, India has reduced its dependence on imported weapons from 70% to 40%, at the same time, our weapon exports multiplied by 6 times, from $76 millions to $450 millions.

If all targets are met, India will be producing 70%-80% of required weapons (cost wise) & arms exports @ 2 billions.
Means being in top 10 weapon sellers if not top 5.
