    @Tirdad Hey! Oghab :) thanks

Nope i dont think we have any specialists in cold weapons. Only in viking time :) But special force do some standard training i believe. Rest is up to you if u want to train more with the knife.

I am not sure what question ur asking with Famous Sniper. Are you thinking what type of weapons they use. I think they use many different sniper weapons. depends on what mission you do and what is best to use. But i know Norwegian won European best sniper squad competition 2016
    Norwegian 1 Sweden 2 and Belgium 3

    Sorry, I forgot to write:

it is a common Game among Soldiers ...

Kidding with Names of Weapons, Ppl, Places, etc ...

what we have, what we had and what we dont have ...

    e. g.:

US MBT M 47 is called "PATTON"

in Persian, it means "Your Foot"

    پاتون = پا + تون

or another one, @YarS said about Greek Ambassade "KiryaKos"

another one is former CiC of Iranian Armed Forces, General Firouzabadi,

we called him "Sardaar Boshkeh" Literar means "General Barrell"

also "GoruhBan Garsia", in Zorro Cartoon

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorro_(1957_TV_series)

    Here it is:

i googled "Sardaar Boshkeh" and you can see his Wiki page in 3rd link, 1st page.

    Also Pesian Tounge Twister:

سربازی در سربازی در سرباز سر بازی سرسره بازی سر سربازی را شکست

Sarbaazi dar Sarbaazi dar Sarbaz Sar -e Bazi ye Sorsore Bazi Sar e Sarbazi ra shekast

    and many other things ...

    OK.

Let me explain with photoes instead of Links.

we say they built Sniper Rifles w/ Heavy Calibres

12.5 mm, 14.5 mm, 20 mm, 23 mm are Heavy Calibre (AA Guns) for Infantry .

    Here are some photo:

    this is "SHAHER" ...

Cal: 20 mm, Single shot, Gas Operated (?!?!?!), weitgh: 22 Kg, Lenght: 185 cm, Most Efective Firing Range: 3000 m

    This one, is "BAHER",

BAHER, This is my Norwegian Friend, Mr. BlueHawk.

Cal: 23 mm - no info about other things.

    This one is "SHAHER"too.

    14.5 mm, 5 rnd Box Magazine, 27 Kg, 2500 m, needs a crew of 3

    these are AAA calibres ...

    what is next ???

    1) 13.2 mm - 2) 37 mm - 3) 40 mm - 4) 57 mm

also there are some jokes about Naming System ...

But i cant translate them, because it needs Arabic knowledge, at least B1 Level.

Even i dont Know what they (Weapons i said) mean in Farsi !!!

@Tirdad Hey. The BAHER look like it can be in handy and can do some good damage. It is interesting to see how Iranian have develop military weapons with the limited access to the market. I think you guys have done good with what you have :) Nice pictures.
