Is U.S. Debt a Problem?

    You can't just print money to get out of a problem because that lowers the value of the money and it becomes a destructive cycle that devalue's the currency as fast as it's printed. That happened to Argentina in the 70's. If we could just print money then we could pay off our debt tomorrow and we wouldn't have to have any taxes. I don't know what Alan Greenspan is saying, the video doesn't continue his point.

    The debt becomes a problem when it becomes a problem. You could say it's a problem now. Really, we should, at least, find a way to balance our budget so we can stop increasing the debt.

    I'm not sure, that Mexico will sell real goods to US for the green papers.

    If US companies built a clothing and shoe industry in Mexico that would give them jobs so less Mexican's would try to come in to the US. The costs to average American's for shoes/clothes would only be slightly higher.
