Did you all notice the guys with the new infantry gear? Night vision goggles and the whole 9 yards. They are at 1 hour 58 minutes. They have an interesting high capacity magazine AK as well, similar in style to the Bizon PP-19

China and Russia dispatch ships to shadow Donald Trump’s 'armada' as it approaches North Korean waters - Japanese media report

China and Russia have dispatched spy vessels to shadow a US aircraft carrier group heading to North Korean waters, Japanese media said, amid rising tensions over Pyongyang’s nuclear ambitions.

Beijing sought Russian help in averting a crisis over North Korea last week, as concerns grow in China that Donald Trump is seeking to confront North Korea over its weapon’s program.

The US president sent a navy group led by the aircraft carrier Carl Vinson into the region, in what is being seen as a signal to Pyongyang.

So if the Vinson and its strike team were never actually in the Korean Peninsula, what the hell are the Russians and Chinese tracking|Bucktooth|?

    Dolphins|Smug|?

Vinson was 3,500 miles from the Korean Peninsula. That amounts to 6 days of travel at 25nm, meaning even 3 days later, as of the 18th of April, it'd still be 1,700 miles away from where it was reported to be nearby Korea.

INDIAN OCEAN (April 15, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) transits the Indian Ocean. The Carl Vinson Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.

INDIAN OCEAN (April 14, 2017) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112), left, and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) are underway with the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). The ships are on a scheduled western Pacific deployment with the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.

Well good luck to them anyway. I hope they find what they're looking for, their sanity hopefully. I've got a spare bottle of cleaning spray if they need to wipe down the lenses of their satellites or something:D.

North Korea images testfire strategic Hwasong-12 IRBM پرتاب آزمایشی موشک هوآسونگ-۱۲

Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- A test-fire of new ground-to-ground medium long-range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12 was successfully carried out on Sunday by scientists and technicians in the field of rocket research, who are bravely advancing toward a new goal to be proud of in the world, true to the far-sighted idea of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, for building a nuclear power.

Latest N. Korean missile test may show progress toward ICBM, experts say

By KIM GAMEL | STARS AND STRIPES Published: May 15, 2017

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea’s latest missile test was one of its most successful yet and may have been a major step toward its goal of developing an intercontinental ballistic missile that could reach the U.S. mainland, experts said.

The North’s state-run news agency reported Monday that it had successfully tested a new ground-to-ground “medium long-range” ballistic rocket that could carry a heavy nuclear warhead.

The Korean Central News Agency said the missile traveled 490 miles and reached a maximum altitude of 1,311 miles on Sunday. While Pyongyang frequently exaggerates its claims, the distances were roughly similar to those given by U.S., Japanese and South Korean military officials.

The missile, called Hwasong-12, was fired “at the highest angle in consideration of the security of neighboring countries,” KCNA said. “It also verified the homing feature of the warhead under the worst re-entry situation and accurate performance of detonation system.”

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw the launch and was shown in photos published in state-run media watching as the missile was loaded onto a launcher and later smiling with military officials in apparent celebration.

Kim was quoted as warning the United States that its mainland and military operations in the Pacific are in “sighting range” and that North Korea “has all powerful means for a retaliatory strike.”
