    Yes, but importing things via smuggling still involves importing them. It would certainly be reasonable to guess that Iran might remove labels and such, but do you know if that is the actual practice?

    پاکستان پهپاد ایران را در فضای هوایی پاکستان سرنگون کرد

    روزنامه داون نیوز پاکستان مدعی شد که نیروی هوایی ارتش پاکستان پهپاد ایرانی را که در نزدیکی مرزهای این کشور سرنگون کرد.
    نیروی هوایی ارتش پاکستان مدعی شد که یک پهپاد ایرانی که در نزدیکی مرزهای این کشور در حال گشت زنی بوده را در منطقه «پروم» واقع در شهر «پنجگور» ایالت «بلوچستان» این کشورمورد هدف قرار داده است.منطقه پنجگور در حدود ۵۰ کیلومتری مرز پاکستان با ایران واقع است.
    بر اساس جزئیات لاشه این پهپاد برای بررسی های بیشتر در اختیار ارتش پاکستان قرار گرفته است. در این گزارش اما به زمان دقیق ساقط کردن این پهپاد اشاره ای نشده است.
    بنا به ادعای این منبع در ۲۴ ساعت گذشته این دومین پهپاد ایران است که ساقط می شود.

    Officials: Pakistan shoots down Iranian drone near border
    ISLAMABAD — Pakistani officials say an air force fighter jet has shot down an unmanned Iranian drone in its southwestern Baluchistan province.
    Both officials Tuesday said the unmanned aircraft was shot down over the weekend and was deep inside Pakistani airspace. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.
    The Pakistani Air Force declined to comment on the matter

    Not really, you had purchased engines and lot of other stuffs in early 70s in bulk from these countries.

    After the Iran Revolution in 1980, we were sanctioned in economic terms. But, from 2003_2014, because of the nuclear issue, we were sanctioned in all areas.
    Even after the JCPOA in 2014, We are still sanction and the restrictions on conventional arms sales will remain in place for five years.

    that's not the point, without testing facilities, we know that Iran must have imported critical stuff.
    And I don't remember if you guys were sanctioned in 80s when you bought all this stuff.

    For rest, reverse engineering to utilizing stuff for utilizing power plants & engines for nice platforms and creating these platforms, I never said that Iran hasn't done bad either.
